There is a comprehensive range of business information, services and support available to business in the Shire of Mundaring.  These services are available to all businesses, new and established, small and large, home-based, retail, wholesale or industrial businesses.  This includes information on business planning and establishment, growth and development, planning, licensing and regulation.

Small Business Centre East Metro

SBC East Metro can provide you with independent, confidential, practical assistance and other support in business planning, financing, market research, trade information and industry regulations. The Centre is also a gateway to private and public support programs for business.  SBC East Metro offers no-cost counselling and support to new and existing business. The business and public sectors in partnership fund the Centre in Midland.

Small Business Development Corporation

SBDC is a Western Australian State Government agency focused on the development of the small business sector and is committed to:

 l       championing the cause of small business;

l       developing programs and services to meet the needs of small business development;

l       establishing and strengthening relationships between SBDC and key agencies (public and private sector); and

l       maintaining and enhancing the independence, innovation and responsiveness of SBDC.

l       SBDC can assist with starting and growing your business, business support, and licensing information.

Mundaring Chamber of Commerce

Swan Chamber of Commerce

The Workforce Development Centre can provide a range of information and assistance about career and training options, including:

l       Workshops to help you in your job search

AusIndustry is the Australian Government’s principal business program delivery division in the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.  AusIndustry provides incentives to help Australian businesses conduct research and development, grow small business, take up new technology, undertake industry-specific manufacturing and production, and commercialise new technologies or ventures.
