Reducing smoke nuisance

‚ÄčThe Restricted Burning Period ends at midnight on Tuesday 17 May. From Wednesday 18 May no permits are required to burn on your property, however residents should be still burn with caution. Read more in the Fire and Burning Information Book.

If your burn is effective it should produce minimal smoke. We ask all residents to be courteous and reduce smoke nuisance. For more information on smoke management view the fact sheet - Smoke Management.
