Resident Services

The Shire provides many services to individuals and the community as a whole.

These include:

  • Building and Planning applications, processing and licensing.
  • Health services dealing with refuse and recycling as well as inspections of food premises, septic tanks and pools.
  • Environmental functions covering such things as removal of weeds, cleaning of rivers as well as providing advice on and actively sustaining the flora and fauna of the Hills.
  • Ranger Services manages emergencies and fires as well as enforcing the bylaws of the state and animal management.
  • Infrastructure and Works services the community by maintaining the roads, drainages, parks and ovals and general infrastructure.
