SHIRE OF MUNDARING COMMUNITY RANGERS

       

The Shire of Mundarings Ranger Service Team consist of four Community Rangers, Secretary for Community Safety, Team Leader of Community Safety and the Manager of Community Safety and Health.

Our Rangers deal with many issues they are:-

 Dogs Issues  Offroad Vehicles  FireBreaks  Graffiti  Litter
 Cats Issues  Damage  Livestock (Sheep,Cattle,etc)  Council Security  Abandoned Vehicles
 Pound Duties  Fire Hazards  Reserves & Thoroughfares  Compliance  Local Laws

Keeping an animal is an important responsibility. To be a responsible owner is it important to be aware of the Laws regarding keeping animals in your area. The Shire provides this information, dispelling common myths about barking dogs as well as a providing a database of lost and found animals and registration fees.

Permits to burn are required for all burning during this period. Note that small amounts of garden refuse may be burnt without a permit after 6.00 p.m. For more information regarding burning restrictions and fires, please phone the fire information hotline on 9290 6644.
