Payment Options

There are a number of options for your paying your rates, which are due and payable within 35 days of the issue date of the rate notice. In order to maximise services to ratepayers, the Shire encourages the prompt payment of rates and other charges.


Bpoint - Click the button on the left to pay your bills online with Mastercard or Visa.

BPay - Contact your participating financial institution to arrange payment from your cheque, savings or credit card account.

In person

Present your notice INTACT at the Shire's Administration Centre, 7000 Great Eastern Highway Mundaring, pay with cash, cheque, debit card, Mastercard or Visa.

Australia Post - Present your notice INTACT at any Australia Post Office or Agency for payment, pay with cash, cheque, debit card, Mastercard or Visa.
By mail

Mail to 7000 Great Eastern Highway Mundaring WA 6073.

Phone 1300 276 468 to pay with Mastercard or Visa.


Payment options
Option 1 - Payment IN FULL by 12 September 2016
All payments received in full by the due date will automatically be entered into the draw for the early payment Incentive Competition. Details of the prizes are included with your Rate Notice.

Option 2 - Four equal instalments. First instalment due 12 September 2016, second instalment due 14 November 2016, third instalment due 16 January 2017 and final instalment due 20 March 2017.

To qualify for instalments, the exact amount shown at Option 2 on your notice must be received in one whole payment by 12 September 2016.

Alternative payment arrangements/direct debit
Requests for payment arrangements and/or direct debits must be notified to the Shire Rates prior to the due date specified on your Rate notice.

Please be aware that the following conditions apply:

  • interest charges at the rate of 11% per annum on the rates and charges outstanding after the due date as specified on the annual notice will continue to accrue daily until settled in full
  • the Shire will confirm in writing the receipt of the payment plan.
