Large Public Events and use of Public Buildings
Public events are exciting occasions for community togetherness and celebration. To ensure that these events maintain public health and safety standards the Health Service addresses the following issues:

Public exit from any temporary venue/ structure, in the case of an emergency.

Numbers of sanitary facilities and rubbish bins.

General safety issues.

Compliance of temporary food handling procedures/ premises with legislative and food safety requirements.

Impact of noise levels generated from the events on the surrounding neighbourhood.

Patronage numbers.

Trek the Trail
This annual free event takes place every September. The route changes every year. Along the way, participants can enjoy art, entertainment and historical displays, as well as being able to experience the natural beauty of one of the State's best walking trails.
