The Active Ageing Network are instrumental in planning and delivering activities and events suitable for all age groups in the Shire of Mundaring communities.  These activities are based at the Hub of the Hills located in Mundaring.

Presentation of a community festival in Mount Helena

Established in 1993, the Mt Helena Senior Football Club is an Australian Rules football club affiliated with the Hills Football Association.  Our home is the Elsie Austin Reserve in Mt Helena.  We are a very active social club who takes pride in having a close and strong relationship with our players, supporters and sponsors.

Seen and Heard are a Youth Development Programme funded by the Shire of Mundaring and delivered by Parkervlle Children and Youth Care.
Seen and Heard work with young people aged 12 - 20 to develop events, activities and youth led projects for all young people living with the Shire of Mundaring. One of these activities is the Seen and Heard Dance Party.
The objective of the Dance Parties is to provide a safe and healthy entertainment for young people in a fully supervised enviroment free of drugs, alcohol and violence. 

We have a Native Plant Nursery where we grow to orders. Our volunteers have hands on experience in propagating the native seedlings. Also with extensive grounds we are always looking for people to help with the maintanence. There are Seed collecting days and planting in the wet season.
