The Shire provides various services to individuals and the community as a whole.

These include:

Building and Planning - applications, processing and licensing

Health services - refuse, recycling, inspections of food premises, septic tanks and pools

Environmental functions - removal of weeds, cleaning of rivers, providing advice on and actively sustaining the flora and fauna of the Hills

Ranger services - managing emergencies and fires, enforcing bylaws of the State, animal management

Infrastructure and Works - maintaining roads, drainage, parks, ovals and general infrastructure
