Following the advice of the Federal government and the WA Department of Health, Shire of Mundaring has introduced changes to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the community.

Changes will be in place until the end of April and will be extended as required.

30 March 2020 - Special Council meeting to address response to COVID-19

Shire of Mundaring will hold a Special Council meeting on Thursday 2 April 2020 commencing at 6.00pm via video conference.

25 March 2020 - Administration Building and Operations Depot now closed to public

The Shire of Mundaring Administration Building and Operations Depot has been closed to the public until at least the end of April.

This decision was made following Commonwealth and the State Government announcements yesterday to close all non-essential local government facilities, maintain social distancing guidelines and for people to 'stay home unless absolutely necessary'. Read more here..

Face-to-face customer service has temporarily been suspended.

Staff will continue to assist people with their enquiries via phone and email

Libraries – Libraries provide a vital community service and whilst face to face service can not continue at this time, we will be offering a range of non-contact services. Watch this space for more information.

In the meantime, you can access eMagazines, eBooks, eAudiobooks, and video streaming free with your library membership. Check for these resources on our eLibrary page at bit.ly/eLibraryMUN

Library staff are still available by phone or email to answer queries from 9am to 5pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 9am to 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 9am to noon on Saturdays.
