Free webinar recordings now available

‚ÄčAs part of its new Reimagine and Thrive webinar series, Shire of Mundaring has launched five free webinars designed to help individuals and community groups prosper and recover from the COVID-19 crisis.

The Shire will host four webinars in partnership with local not for profit organisation MIDLAS, detailing how to apply for financial support payments, and offering tips about managing your finances.

Ian Crawford from Candor Training and Consultancy will present an additional webinar, 'Grant writing and where to find funds'. This two-hour webinar aims to teach organisations and community groups how to secure grants and sponsorships and develop skills to write competitive applications.

Shire President Cr John Daw said the webinars, a COVID-19 recovery initiative organised by the Shire, were launched in response to feedback received through the COVID-19 Community Impact Survey conducted in April.

"The webinars are designed to provide individuals and community groups with the tools to develop and utilise new skills that will help them flourish into the future," he said.

"I hope our hardworking sporting groups, environmental groups, youth organisations, community groups and not for profit organisations, can learn some great tips to help them recover from the disruption caused by the pandemic.

"Shire of Mundaring is dedicated to supporting our community through the pandemic and beyond, and I look forward to seeing how our community adapts to the new normal in coming months."
