SHIRE of Mundaring is inviting residents, and members of Friends Groups and Catchment Groups in the Perth Hills, to join Shire staff for morning tea on Saturday 15 September 2018.
The Shire's environment and sustainability co-ordinator, Briony Moran, said the event presented a great opportunity for guests to socialise with other Landcare volunteers and learn about projects happening near them.
"The morning tea will also feature the launch of Una Bell's new booklet Native Grasses of Perth Hills: a field guide to identification," said Ms Moran.
"Participants will have the opportunity to view native grass displays and pick up a copy of Una's book."
The event takes place from 9am to 11.30am at the Shire's Administration Building, 7000 Great Eastern Highway, Mundaring. Parking will be available at the front of the building with additional bays in the Shire staff carpark accessible from Jacoby Street.
