Community groups and sporting clubs seeking a burst of funding are invited to apply for a Quick Grant from the Shire of Mundaring.
Part of the Community Grants scheme, Quick Grants offer financial support up to a maximum of $500 to local community groups for the purchase of small equipment and other small projects that benefit the community.
Shire of Mundaring Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Throssell, said the grants aim to help small community groups grow.
"Over the years we have been able to help many local sporting competitions prosper with funding for new equipment such as netballs, shelving and first aid kits," he said.
"We are excited to see how local community clubs use these grants to further their competitions and teams."
The Shire has awarded an accumulated $75,561 since 2014.
Mr Throssell said while applications for Quick Grants were encouraged, applications would need to meet the eligibility criteria.
"Applications will be assessed on the overall project, budget, anticipated success of the project or activities, and the in-kind contribution by the group," he said.
Applications close at 4pm on Monday 17 May.
