A Special Council Meeting is to be held at 6.30pm on Tuesday, 27 August 2019 regarding the North Stoneville Townsite Structure Plan 34 (SP34). The purpose of the meeting is for Council to consider a report which seeks to modify the plan.
Shire of Mundaring Council will consider the submissions previously provided and will make its recommendation to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC), the authority responsible for determining the outcome of SP34.
Community members may also present their views directly by way of a deputation at the Special Council Meeting. The Shire's Meeting Procedures Local Law 2015 allows a period of time for deputations, noting that each deputation is limited to a maximum of three minutes.
If you wish to present a deputation you must register an interest with the Shire via email - firstname.lastname@example.org (ensuring you include Special Council Meeting 27 August 2019 in the subject field. Please include your name and preferred contact details in the body of the email). However due to the high level of community interest in SP34, it is anticipated that opportunities for deputations will be limited because of time constraints.
The Special Council Meeting will be held in the Shire's Civic Area (located next to the Council Chamber) at 7000 Great Eastern Highway, Mundaring.
A copy of the report and schedule of submissions will be available after 12pm on Wednesday, 7 August via the Shire's website, www.mundaring.wa.gov.au
Please contact the Shire if you wish to attend the meeting and have particular access requirements so that suitable arrangements can be made.
