The public toilets at Morgan John Morgan Reserve in Glen Forrest will receive a significant accessibility upgrade during March and April, with works commencing next week.
The toilet block will be closed from Monday 9 March until the end of April to allow construction of a new universally accessible toilet.
During the construction period, there will be no public access to the existing toilets at Morgan John Morgan Reserve with visitors encouraged to use the closest public toilets at nearby Glen Forrest Oval on Marnie Road.
Shire of Mundaring Director Infrastructure Services Shane Purdy has thanked visitors to Morgan John Morgan Reserve for their patience while the works are carried out.
"These works are part of Council's ongoing commitment to progressively make all Shire building facilities accessible to every member of our community," he said.
"Access upgrades will also begin this month at Parkerville Oval to improve that facility."
