Thanks to a partnership with the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC) and Shire of Mundaring, KidSport funding is now available for local children. Applications for 2020 are currently being accepted.

KidSport assists children with Healthcare or Pensioner Concession Cards and/or families experiencing genuine hardship within Shire of Mundaring to participate in sporting activities.  KidSport provides financial assistance of up to $150 per child per calendar year.

Families who do not have a concession card but are experiencing significant financial hardship, as a result of an unforeseen situation, may be eligible to apply for a financial exception through a KidSport Financial Assessor.

The KidSport Officer can help locate suitable clubs and groups for approved applicants. Children aged 5-18 years can apply for the grant which is paid directly to the registered KidSport club they have selected to join.

From 1 August 2017, KidSport vouchers will only cover club registration fees. Uniform/core equipment will no longer be eligible items within the $150 a year voucher.

For further information or assistance please contact the KidSport Officer on Wednesdays between 8.30am and 4.30pm on the contact details below.
