‚ÄčThe Shire of Mundaring has now lifted the ban on burning permits, however permits will only be available online whilst restrictions for brigades still remain in place. Please ensure the top section of the permit is completed in full. There is contact information on the top left hand corner of the online form if require any further information.


Permit to Burn Form 


**If you require a permit for the week end please have your application submitted by midday Thursday**

Please note the following:

  • Once your PERMIT application has been completed it will not be valid until it is sent by return email back to your nominated email address and signed by a Shire of Mundaring Fire Control Officer

  • Permits will only be valid for 7 days, the 7 days will commence from the time the approved permit has been emailed to the applicant

  • Permits will only be processed during office hours 9am until 4:30pm Monday-Friday Note: your permit may not be approved on the day that you send it.

  • A Shire Fire Control Officer may contact you if further information is required

  • Your local brigade will also be sent a copy of your permit

  • Brigades/or Shire Fire Control Officers may if required visit your property to ensure conditions of the  permit are being met

  • There are standard conditions on your permit that must be adhered to. If any special conditions are required these will be mentioned under the 'Office use Only/Special Conditions' please read all conditions prior to ticking the box and typing your name. Once this has been done you are accepting these conditions.

Lastly we thank you for your patience and understanding during these difficult times, as the online permits are new we hope you understand that there may be some minor hurdles, however we will try and make this as easy as possible. We are working on a more functional online permit application for the not too distant future.
