The Shire recognises that this is a trying and constantly evolving time for food businesses and our community. The Shire is taking this opportunity to provide food businesses with information to assist through the challenges presented by COVID-19. Refer to the below links for further information:

In order to assist businesses, the Shire of Mundaring provides free on-line food safety training.

Food Handler Training

The Food Standards Code requires a food business to ensure that persons undertaking or supervising food handling operations have –

(a)          skills in food safety and food hygiene matters; and

(b)          knowledge of food safety and food hygiene matters, relative to their work                           activities.

The Shire has recently changed the training package it provides from I'm Alert to FoodSafe Online. You may register and complete the FoodSafe Online course by going to https://www.ehawa.org.au/products/foodsafe-products/foodsafe-online.

Proceed to the PAYMENT DETAILS section and enter the below code in the "Redeem Online Voucher" field for free access:
