Step 1 – Sign up for your own scheme ID to receive your refund via a direct
deposit into your bank account by visiting Containers for Change (WA).
Step 2 – Start collecting your eligible containers. Onion bags can assist with storing your collection and are available for purchase at the Shire's CfC refund point for the cost of 4 beverage containers per bag. Bags can also be exchanged free of charge when you drop off your full bags.
Step 3 – Drop off your eligible containers to the Shire's CFC refund point.
Step 4 – The containers are counted and recorded in the Containers for Change scheme which is run by the Western Australia Return Recycle Renew (WARRRL). WARRRL transfers your payment electronically to your scheme ID nominated bank account.
