Fencing
There are several organisations assisting with clearing damaged fencing, procuring donations of fencing materials, loaning fencing tools and providing expert assistance with fence installation.  For more information please contact the Shire’s Project Officer – Community Recovery via mobile 0448 245 086 or email karendore@mundaring.wa.gov.au

General Supplies

Animal Welfare
Please contact the Shire on 9290 6666 and press option 8. Shire staff will put you in touch with agencies and vets who can help.

Bushfire Community Recovery Centre
Located at the Gidgegannup Place Office, Unit 4, 2125 Toodyay Road (next to the Gidgegannup Bakery and Cafe). 
Open: Wednesday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
           Saturday, 9am to 12noon.

This centre continues to provide a range of support services including:

Community Connect Space, Percy Cullen Oval
Last day, Saturday 8 May.

CWA, Gidgegannup Showgrounds
Fire-affected residents can drop in and get what they need for free. Stocks include workwear, work boots, clothing for adults and children, stationary and school supplies, food and meals, tools and fencing supplies. 
Open Wednesday,10am to 2pm
          Friday 9.30am to 11.30am

Note: general donations are currently not being accepted.

Department of Transport WA
  
Fees are waived for those who have been directly impacted by the bushfires for the following:
• Replacement vehicle number plates (ordinary state or district plates);
• Certified copies of licences for vehicles destroyed in the bushfires;
• Replacement driver’s licence card (including an extraordinary driver’s licence and learner's permit);
• Replacement WA Photo Card;
• Replacement Learner Log Book;
• Recreational Skipper’s Tickets; and
• Boat registration papers

Gidgegannup Recreation Club, Percy Cullen Oval
Volunteers can support you with fencing supplies and tools, pod and temporary housing outfitting.  No general donations are being accepted at the moment. If you would like to access this service, or have a specific donation you would like to make please phone Sharon on 0466 430 979 or email sharon@sharonpegrum.com.au. 

Insurance
The Insurances Council of Australia has declared the Perth Hills bush fires a catastrophe.  This means that claims from the Wooroloo bush fire will be prioritised by insurers, and they will be focussing on reducing the immense emotional and financial stress experienced by the residents and businesses.

Replacement documentation
If you lost your birth, marriage or change of name certificate in the bushfire, the team at the Recovery Centre can help you organise a replacement. Please drop in to see the team in person and bring any ID you have at the Gidgegannup Place Office, Unit 4, 2125 Toodyay Road (next to the Gidgegannup Bakery and Cafe).
