Wooroloo Bushfire Recovery Updates
Cuppa Catch Up

Every Wednesday, 10am to midday
Gidgegannup Community Church, Old Toodyay Road 

Catch up with neighbours, meet other community members and chat with agency representatives.

The kettle's on and the biccie tin is kept topped up!  

Pop in any Tuesday and alternate Thursday's (times as noted below) to access information from the Shire of Mundaring and other service providers (Department of Communities, Australian Red Cross, Youth Focus). 

You'll also have the chance to catch up with neighbours over a cuppa.  Bring the kids, they can investigate the 'toys 'n' games' box or find a quiet space for homework.

Monthly Recovery Update and Dinner

Bushfire affected residents are invited to come along to enjoy a meal, share stories and hear recovery updates.

Wooroloo Gidgegannup Community bushfire prone landscaping and environmental planning forum

Saturday 31 July, midday to 4pm

Residents will have the opportunity to see presentations, access information and talk to experts. Topics will include: 
  • Fire ecology - land stabilsation, weed/erosion control, fauna and habitat restoration, bushland management, climage change impacts 
  • Cultural fire principles
  • Aboriginal heritage 
  • Burning SMART
  • Firewise gardens 
  • Nesting boxes
