This is the monthly talk at the Eastern Hills Branch of the Wildflower Society. Arpad Kalotis is an environmental consultant with extensive experience in vegetation management and indigenous heritage research and Aboriginal land management. He has studied fungi and in particular, Aboriginal uses of fungi. The early Europeans documented some Aboriginal use of fungi and Arpad has researched past and present records to compile a list of fungi utilized by Aborigines. He has documented treatment of the fungi before use and has looked at various fungi from all over Australia.
