About Kidsport

KidSport enables children to participate in community sport and recreation by offering them financial assistance towards club registration fees.

Eligible children in Western Australia can receive up to $150 per calendar year to cover the costs of joining any approved KidSport club.

The funds go directly to the registered KidSport clubs participating in the project.

KidSport is delivered by the Department of Local Government Sport and Cultural Industries in partnership with Local Governments throughout Western Australia and is supported by Lotterywest.
