(For adults)

Join former ABC broadcaster ad foreign correspondent Geoff Hutchison as he discusses his new book How Not to Become a Grumpy Old Bugger: A Bloke's Guide to Living a Better Life.

Geoff Hutchison reckons he met quite a few grumps during his time as an ABC broadcaster and, upon retirement, he was determined not to turn into one. How Not to Become a Grumpy Old Bugger ponders why so many blokes seem to struggle as they get older and offers some gentle (and not-so-gentle) advice on how they might lead happier and more fulfilling lives in a fast-changing world.

Geoff not only mines his own life experiences but also consults a wide range of experts and well-known personalities, including bestselling author Maggie Dent, philosopher Hugh Mackay and Fremantle Dockers captain Alex Pearce.

Books will be available to purchase on the day courtesy of Dymocks Midland Gate. There will be time for Q&A and book signing.

Bookings are essential for this free event via Humanitix.

Light refreshments will be available. You are encouraged to bring your own keep cup for tea/coffee or water.
