Record crowds at Lake Leschenaultia

Magnificent weather and a picture perfect location have attracted record crowds to Lake Leschenaultia in the Shire of Mundaring.

In the fortnight leading up to Christmas, an average of 1600 people visited the Lake each day.

Just over 2500 people chose to celebrate New Year's Day by spending it at the popular freshwater lake.

Visitors enjoyed a variety of activities at Lake Leschenaultia including camping, picnics and swimming. Others hired canoes and paddled their way around the spectacular Chidlow location.

One of the biggest drawcards is the pontoon and this year has been no exception!

Staff at Reflections Café were kept busy providing delicious meals and snacks for hungry crowds!
