Do you want to learn how to undertake a creekline restoration project and turn your degraded creek into a healthy, flourishing habitat?
The Shire of Mundaring will host a Creekline Restoration Workshop using Convict Creek as an example, on Saturday 22 May from 10am to 12noon.
The workshop will show you how to interpret your site, identify and prioritise work that needs to be done; tips and techniques for understanding basic hydrology, erosion control, revegetation and weed control; and how to select suitable native plants to recreate habitat for riparian fauna.
Suitable clothing and footwear for walking on uneven bush tracks is required. Meet at the Boya Quarry Carpark, Coulston Road, Boya.
Numbers are limited. Book your spot via the Eventbrite listing Creekline Restoration Workshop or email firstname.lastname@example.org
