Shire of Mundaring is seeking feedback from community on its draft Access and Inclusion Informing Strategy Action Plan (Action Plan) by Friday 30 September.
The Action Plan has been prepared following community consultation earlier this year on how the Shire could improve access and inclusion across the shire as part of its review of the Disability and Access and Inclusion Plan.
Shire President James Martin said the activities within the five year Action Plan will support the Shire’s commitment to ensuring the community is welcoming, accessible and inclusive for all.
“Community feedback has been at the forefront of developing the new Strategy and Action Plan,” he said.
“Thank you to the residents who heeded the call and let us know how the Shire can improve access and inclusion.
“The community shared their suggestions and the responses to the survey have supported us in developing the draft Action Plan.”
