The Trust have received a $500 contribution from the Shire to host the 2022 Robert Juniper Award for the Arts presentation in December.
Shire President James Martin said the Shire was proud to be able to support the Trust in its prestigious Robert Juniper Award for the Arts.
“It is exciting to award our first InspireArts grant to the Trust and ultimately to support the cultural endeavours of young people in the shire,” he said.
“The Shire has had a long standing relationship with the Trust and it’s exciting to be able to assist them with their Awards presentations through the InspireArts grant.”
InspireArts Community Creativity and Cultural Fund
The InspireArts Community Creativity and Cultural Fund was established in July to support arts, culture and heritage initiatives delivered in the shire.
The fund offers individual applicants up to $1000 or $2000 for community groups/organisations.
Shire President James Martin said he encouraged individuals, and community groups and organisations, to apply for funding to assist with their cultural endeavours.
“The Shire is seeking to fund initiatives that will encourage new partnerships, and improve access to arts and culture activity within the Shire,” he said.
“We want to assist individuals and groups to achieve long term artistic and cultural benefits and engage local residents.”
