Shire of Mundaring residents and businesses are invited to participate in a quick survey by Thursday 20 October, to assist the Shire in developing a draft Economic Development and Tourism Informing Strategy.
A five-minute survey is available on Engage Mundaring and seeks to gain feedback on your thoughts about tourism and economic development in the shire.
Shire President James Martin said the Shire was currently working towards a business-led and Council supported approach to economic development and tourism.
“Feedback from the survey will aid in the preparation of a draft strategy that will support economic development and tourism for the Shire’s residents and businesses.”
The survey consists of five questions where respondents can rank the Shire’s challenges and strengths in terms of economic development; what is needed for sustainable growth in the shire; opinions on economic development and tourism and suggested economic development and tourism projects and initiatives for the shire.
The development of an Economic and Tourism Strategy is a commitment endorsed by Council in the Shire’s Corporate Business Plan.
“The new strategy will enable us to promote the shire as a place to visit, work and play, and aid economic and tourism growth in the region.”
To complete the survey visit Engage Mundaring.
