Shire of Mundaring is pleased to host the 2022 Hockey WA International Indoor Challenge at Mundaring Arena from Friday 2 to Friday 16 December.

The announcement of the tournament comes following Council’s decision at its Ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday 9 August, to approve a waiver of fees for Mundaring Arena for Hockey WA to support and promote the tournament.

Shire President James Martin said he was pleased to welcome Australian and international hockey players to the region.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase Perth Hills Mundaring and our international standard facility to the world,” he said.

“This is an exciting opportunity for the players to be able to travel to play the sport they love after being restricted for the last two years.”

“It will be great for our local indoor junior hockey players to experience what an international world class competition looks like.”

“We hope that this may be an ongoing feature on the Shire’s sporting calendar.”
