Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage on behalf of The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) has advised the Shire of Mundaring that it is currently advertising the amended Structure Plan 34, which relates to the North Stoneville Townsite.
The advertising period is now open until Monday 8 May.
Shire President James Martin said he reminded residents that the WAPC is the decision-maker for structure plans, which are a guide to future subdivision and development.
“The WAPC has been ordered by the State Administrative Tribunal to reconsider its decision to refuse Structure Plan 34,” he said.
“Residents who are interested in making a submission should not send them to the Shire. Instead, they should send them directly to the WAPC before the comment period closes.”
