Please be advised that due to last night’s Council meeting running until 11.52pm – with several agenda items still to be considered – the meeting will be reconvened in the Council Chambers on Tuesday 19 April.
The following items will be considered from 6.30pm on 19 April:
- Review 12 Annual Electors’ Meeting decisions
- Request to Attend Training – Cr Paige McNeil
- Statement of Financial Activity for period ended 28 February 2022
- List of payments for February 2022
As public question time and deputations were completed at the meeting on 12 April, there will be no further opportunity on 19 April.
The Minutes from the April 2022 Ordinary Council meeting will be available after 19 April.

The next Shire of Mundaring Ordinary Meeting of Council will be held in the Council Chambers on Tuesday 12 April at 6.30pm.
Agenda items include:
- Annual Electors’ Meeting 9 March 2022 Decisions
- Notice of Motion – John Forrest National Park Redevelopment Proposal – Cr John Daw
- Cr Cuthbert resignation - Extraordinary Local Government Election
Please note that the item regarding removal of the Public Ablution Block from Lease – Mahogany Creek Hall has been deferred until May at the request of the Mahogany Creek Progress Association.
Capacity limits due to COVID-19
This meeting will take place in line with the State Government’s COVID-19 directions. Members of the public are able to participate in the following ways:
- Attend the Council Meeting in person, however current directions prohibit the Shire from exceeding 14 members of the public in the Council Chamber and 46 members of the public in the Civic Function Room. Once capacity limits are met, people will be required to wait outside the building until seats become available.
- The wearing of masks is mandatory in accordance with the COVID Transition (Face Covering) Directions (No. 5) and unless a valid medical exemption is shown to a Shire delegate.
- Strict physical distancing protocols will be in place. You are able to watch the meeting via livestream.
- To assist with the meeting management, doors will open from 6pm to allow for the registration of deputations and/or public questions.
Questions and deputations
The opportunity to ask a question or provide a deputation during the meeting may be limited given time constraints. However, all written deputations or questions emailed to EACEO@mundaring.wa.gov.au by 12pm, Tuesday 12 April 2022, will be provided to Councillors prior to the meeting.
