Main Roads is set to replace the Scott Street Bridge in Helena Valley in early 2023.

Once complete, a new wider path adjacent to the eastern carriageway will be available improving access for cyclists and pedestrians.

Works are expected to begin in February and take approximately six months to complete. During construction there are likely to be delays at peak periods, especially school drop off and pick up times.
Traffic over the bridge will be reduced to a single lane, with stop/slow traffic management in place. Drivers are encouraged to take an alternative route where possible.
