Stories told through remnants left amongst the native bushland in the Perth Hills will be on display at Mundaring Arts Centre from Saturday 5 February to Sunday 3 April.

Tales from the Bush by John Eden depicts the stories revealed at various sites Mr Eden has encountered while exploring the Perth Hills.

For many years, Mr Eden has explored the Hills extensively on his bike. He has travelled from Kalamunda to Mundaring; Darlington; John Forrest; Sawyers, Paulls and Bickley valleys; Karragullen; and the Monadnocks.

Through this work, Mr Eden transports viewers to sites such as Mahogany Creek's car graveyard, Sir Paul Hasluck's abandoned swimming pool and the former Barton's Mill Prison.

QR codes to geolocations will be on display alongside artworks to enable viewers to experience the places for themselves.

Mundaring Arts Centre is open from 10am to 5pm on Tuesdays to Fridays and 11am to 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
