Restricted Burning Period starts Monday 6 May

The Shire is now in Restricted Burning period. Residents may burn a 1sqm pile of garden refuse at a time, during the hours of 6pm and 11pm. Permits to Burn are not yet available. Visit the Burning Periods and Fire Danger Rating page to read the conditions.

Lost Mundaring & Surroundings was founded in August 2017 by local Owen Briffa. Owen started Lost Mundaring & Surroundings to preserve our past of the Mundaring and Hills area and to display our history to the people of the Hills. Lost Mundaring started just as a Facebook page, but with the support of the community the page has now grown to cater for all the community with a Facebook page, website and Travelling Local History Museum.
