Make a rates payment
Your rates payment can be made via any of the following options:
Pay via Payble
Payble allows you to set up flexible payment plans via direct debit.
With Payble you can:
- Set up weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payments
- Check your balance at any time
- Amend your payment arrangement if your circumstances change
- Receive an SMS reminder before your payment is due
Pay via BPay
Contact your participating financial institution to arrange payment from your cheque, savings or credit card account using B-Pay code 51797.
Pay by phone
Pay in person
You can make a payment in person at Australia Post or at the Shire's Administration Centre.
- At Australia Post: Present your notice intact at any Australia Post Office or Agency for payment, pay with cash, cheque, debit card, Mastercard or Visa.
- At the Shire: Present your notice intact at the Shire's Administration Centre, 7000 Great Eastern Highway Mundaring, pay with cash, cheque, debit card, Mastercard or Visa.
Post your payment
Mail your cheque to Shire of Mundaring, 7000 Great Eastern Highway, Mundaring WA 6073.
Please do not send cash.
Rate payment dates and options (in full or instalments)
For your convenience, there are three options to choose from when it comes to paying your rates:
Option 1: Pay in full by 22 September 2026
Pay your full rates amount in one whole payment by the above date.
Option 2: Pay via four equal instalments
To qualify for instalments, the exact amount shown at Option 2 on your Rates Notice must be received in one whole payment by 19 September 2025.
Instalment due dates:
- 1st instalment: 22 September 2026
- 2nd instalment: 24 November 2026
- 3rd instalment: 26 January 2027
- 4th instalment: 30 March 2027
Option 3: Alternative payment arrangements/direct debit
Available via Payble; payments can be scheduled on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.
Please be aware that the following conditions apply:
- Interest charged at the rate of 7% per annum on the rates and 11% on the Emergency Services Levy charges outstanding after the due date for payment. Interest will accrue daily until settled in full.

Interest is charged at the rate of 7% per annum on the rates and 11% per month on the Emergency Services Levy charges outstanding after the due date for payment.
Interest will continue to accrue daily until balance is settled in full.
Difficulty paying your rates?
