Welcome to the Bilgoman Aquatic Centre, your go-to place for swimming and relaxation during the summer months in Darlington. Featuring a 50-metre heated Olympic-sized pool and a special shaded pool for toddlers, we offer a refreshing escape for swimmers of all ages.

Situated conveniently at the corner of Lionel Road and Great Eastern Highway, our centre is a hub of aquatic activity and family fun. Join us for a swim and discover all the amenities we have to offer! 

Location and opening hours

Bilgoman Aquatic Centre is located on the corner of Lionel Road and Great Eastern Highway in Darlington. Find on maps

Opening times during the summer season are:

  • Monday to Friday: 5.30am to 7pm*
  • Weekends and Public Holidays: 7am to 7pm.
  • Diving boards will be open to public from 10am-6pm all weekends, public holidays and all school holidays.

*Please note:

  • The pool closes at 8pm Monday to Friday in December, January and February.
  • The centre is closed Christmas Day and Easter.
  • There is no public access during school swimming carnivals.
  • Adults with children under the age of five must be in the water and within arm’s reach of children at all times.
  • Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Lanes 1-4 are reserved for swimming lessons Monday - Friday between 9am & 5.30pm in school terms 1 & 4 and 9am-1pm in January school holidays.
  • There is strictly no glass or alcohol allowed on premises.

  • Adult (18 years +): $6
  • Child/Student (5 years + ): $5
  • Child (4 years and under): Free with full paying adult
  • Concession (Seniors, Pensioners, Health Care Card): $5
  • Spectator: Free
  • Family pass (2 Adults and 2 Children): $20
  • Children under 5: Free with full paying adult
  • Companion Card: No charge for companion

Group bookings

Group bookings and gatherings can be made for a variety of reasons such as birthday parties, barbecues and family gatherings.

For groups of 10 or more people, please pre-advise office staff to assist with managing space, equipment and additional staffing.
