How do I get my pet out of the pound?

Pound fees of $140 for the initial day apply and $15 for subsequent days.  All animals need to be registered to be released from the pound.  Contact Community Safety Rangers for further information on 9290 6629.

Found a cat or dog?

Contact Community Safety Rangers on 9290 6629. Dogs will be collected if the owners cannot be located or there is a history of behavioural issues.

Rehoming cats and dogs

The Shire of Mundaring rehomes all unclaimed animals either through Shenton Park Dog's Refuge and or Pound Watch for dogs and Animal Protection Society for cats.  Please contact them directly if you are interested in rehoming any of the impounded animals.
