If you want to gain some confidence to sit in front of a publisher or agent and pitch your manuscript, this workshop is for you.

If you want to know what happens in a live pitch session from an author who has been there, this workshop is for you.

If you've signed up to pitch at the Festival of Fiction sessions (or another live pitch event), this workshop is for you.

In this two-hour session: 

• You will explore and choose your preferred pitch method.
• You will draft or improve your book pitch.
• We will model background research on the person we're pitching to (using Festival of Fiction Pitch takers).
• You will practice your pitch with another writer in a safe space.
• You'll get to ask all your burning questions!

For adults and young people over 16 years

Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking, venue and toilets. There is a foyer area outside the room or grassed area outside the centre for you to take breaks if you need a quiet space. A non-participating support person is permitted to enter with you for free (please contact Sasha to discuss before buying your ticket), as spots are limited.
