Restricted Burning Period starts Monday 6 May

The Shire is now in Restricted Burning period. Residents may burn a 1sqm pile of garden refuse at a time, during the hours of 6pm and 11pm. Permits to Burn are not yet available. Visit the Burning Periods and Fire Danger Rating page to read the conditions.

MHHS assists individual researchers, schools and other groups to compile local history.

The Society has a large archive of information relating to the history of the Shire of Mundaring.

The Mundaring District Museum, opened in 1997, houses a permanent display about people, places and events of historical interest to the Shire.
