Call for Nominations for Heritage Reference Group

The Shire of Mundaring has a rich and colourful history. Local heritage is a defining characteristic of the Shire and needs to be understood, protected, sustained and celebrated. Heritage is vital to the community’s sense of place and wellbeing. It holds historical, and cultural value, and is an element of the visual built form strongly associated with the area’s local character.

The Shire is inviting nominations for membership of its Heritage Reference Group, which will assist with the preparation of the Shire’s Heritage Strategy. This will involve a holistic review of all the Shire’s activities and actions in relation to local heritage.

Nominations will be accepted by the Shire of Mundaring, until 4.00pm on Friday 20 January 2023.
