Past Event
We all carry stories of stress, of challenge, of healing still to be done.
Whether you are navigating the pressures of everyday life, healing from a difficult past, living with physical or mental health challenges, caring for others, or managing chronic pain, this gentle workshop offers you a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect.
Join Dr Melissa O’Shea - creative writing teacher, counsellor, and qualified yoga and sleep therapist - for a deeply restorative afternoon designed to calm your nervous system and spark your creative unconscious.
In this safe and supportive environment, you will be guided through a soothing blend of reflective and expressive writing exercises, gentle meditation and relaxation techniques, practices to promote emotional balance and creativity, opportunities for quiet self-reflection, a nourishing afternoon tea shared in good company.
You will leave feeling grounded, inspired, and equipped with a toolkit of writing and relaxation practices to continue at home.
No physical fitness or writing experience is required. All activities can be done while seated in a chair.
If you prefer a deeper relaxation experience, you’re welcome to bring a mat or blanket to lie down during rest practices (but only if you're comfortable doing so).
