A major feature of the commemorative service is the March at 9:30 am down Memorial Ave, from Wilcox Street, turning left at Thomas Street and right into Chidlow Village Green, then right in front of the Memorial, halting in front of our War Memorial. The march is led by our Parade Commander. Elderly Veterans will be transported in a Unimog. Taborda Traffic Management have been employed to provide temporary traffic management and traffic controllers to manage the roads around the event site to facilitate safe pedestrian and vehicular movements within and around the event site, for the March and the Service. Entrance to Chidlow Village Green is accessible to all pedestrians and wheelchairs. This formal commemorative service will include The Last Post and Rouse and singing of the Australian and New Zealand National Anthem. Once the service is concluded the attendees will be directed to the Chidlow Hall for morning tea and a historical display and then to The Chidlow Tavern for fellowship.
