Learn to upcycle your old, worn denim using hand-painting techniques! This workshop is hosted by Savannah from Second Spark Studios, a local clothing line dedicated to giving second-hand gear new life with unique, one-of-a-kind designs.
During the session you will learn all about the processes that go into creating each of our pieces, and the importance of reducing landfill wastage caused by the fashion industry. Next, you will paint the custom design of your dreams onto your denim clothing of choice, with guidance and support throughout the session.
Important: BYO denim item to paint. Jackets, jeans, overalls, or any other clothing piece are acceptable. Please avoid bringing thin faux denim or any other fabric types. All other supplies will be provided.
Bookings are essential via Humanitix. Tickets are $20 each. Places are limited.
Please note: Refunds will not be made for cancellations less than 2 working days prior to the event.
Light refreshments will be available. You are encouraged to bring your own cup for tea/coffee or water.
