Delivered by the Red Cross, this workshop encourages children to be active participants in their own emergency preparedness, learning about the types of emergencies they may encounter and the importance of being prepared.
The one-hour workshop involves engaging discussions and interactive activities to help children:

Understand and discuss the importance of being prepared

Prepare their mind for the thoughts and feelings that may arise before, during and after an emergency

know what to pack in an emergency kit.
Each child will be given a pillowcase to decorate and take home to start their own personal emergency kit.

This event is for children aged 7 to 10 years. You do not need to book tickets for adults accompanying children.
Children aged under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.
