Shire of Mundaring Libraries is pleased to host this workshop presented by DadsWA supported by Midvale Hub Parenting Service (Perth North East).
(For fathers and father figures of young people aged 4 to 12 years.)
In a rapidly changing world, the father–son relationship plays a vital role in supporting boys to navigate change and grow into confident, thriving adults.
This workshop explores society’s evolving expectations of boys and how fathers can support and guide their sons to be better prepared for the challenges and choices they face as they approach their adolescent years.
Together, we will reflect on how strong, connected father–son relationships can support boys’ emotional wellbeing, decision‑making, and sense of self.
This workshop will explore:
-
Positive and healthy expressions of masculinity
-
Building self‑confidence and a strong sense of identity
-
Supporting healthy and appropriate risk‑taking
-
Developing resilience through connection and guidance
-
Strengthening emotional connection and communication between fathers and sons.
