From Monday 26 May, traffic management will be in place at the corner of Scott Street and Helena Valley Road to support ongoing Water Corporation pipeline upgrades.  

Important information for residents:

• Roads will remain open under a 3-way traffic control system.
• The northern footpath will be closed – please use the southern verge instead.
• You may notice water being flushed into Helena River as part of testing the new pipeline – this is recycled, drinking-quality water and environmentally approved.
• Access to Helena Valley shops and services remains open – please continue to support local businesses during this time.
• Driveway access will be maintained, and anyone impacted by temporary water outages will receive at least 48 hours' notice. ⚠️ Please drive with caution during the works and follow the direction of traffic controllers.

Approximate timeframes: Initial works are expected from late May to late June, with further activity including shutting down and restoring, planned from late July to late August 2025.
