Why This Project Matters
Elsie Austin Oval is an important community facility that supports a wide range of sports and activities.
The existing changerooms no longer meet the needs of the growing number of users. Participation in junior and senior sport continues to increase, including both boys and girls competitions.
This upgrade will provide modern facilities designed for all genders and abilities. It will support clubs, players and volunteers, and ensure the oval can continue to host a variety of programs and competitions.
The project also reflects strong community advocacy and investment from the State Government through PlayOn WA funding.
