The Dying to Know Day Expo provides an opportunity to connect with experts, discover available services, and gain the confidence to make informed choices as part of a national campaign encouraging Australians to open up meaningful conversations about death, dying and grief. This event will create a safe and meaningful space to share, ask questions, and reflect.

This year's theme "Nobody Knows" - reminds us of the importance of sharing our final wishes, because if nobody knows our final wishes, they never will.

The Expo includes a speaker's program, exhibition area, music, a local artist painting a cardboard casket, vintage and Harley Davidson hearses, Wish Ambulance, and food truck. Boya Library will also be open on the day.

When: Sunday 9 August

Time: 10am - 3pm

Where: Boya Community Centre

Dying to Know Day has been a national day of action on August 8 since 2013, extending throughout the month of August with hundreds of hosts around Australia holding gatherings aimed to normalise conversations about death, dying and grief, encouraging individuals to learn about, discuss, and plan for their own end-of-life, and to support others in doing the same.
