Water saving, reuse and collection in your home

Do you worry about water availability into the future?

Would you like to learn more about saving water in your home?

This workshop covers rainwater, greywater systems and reducing water use in the home and garden. Shani and Tim from Ecoburbia will also cover many water saving tips you can apply in your home. They use an innovative “rainwater collecting water house” making learning easy and fun.

You will leave feeling more confident you are doing your bit to take care of one of the essentials of life – water!

About the presenters

Shani and Tim from Ecoburbia have a wealth of knowledge relating to urban homesteads, adult education, building and sustainability. This knowledge is exemplified by Ecoburbia, an urban infill development with shared living spaces to increase the population density, urban farm, and demonstration sustainable house, with cutting edge energy systems, water collection and dispersal systems and innovative passive solar design. Their goal is to create more sustainable, connected and resilient communities by providing exciting and motivating educational programs that are based on sound behaviour change theory.
