Notice of Roadworks - Stoneville Road (Traylen Road to Carson Street)

Shire of Mundaring has engaged Asphaltech Pty Ltd to undertake essential road resurfacing works on Stoneville Road, between Traylen Road and Carson Street, Stoneville. Works are scheduled to commence on Thursday 1 May 2025 and continue through to Thursday 5 June 2025, subject to weather conditions and contractor availability.

Road closures

  • Full road closures will be in place for the active work area on days when resurfacing is taking place. Vehicle access to properties will not be possible.
  • Limited property access will be available within the active work zone while profiling activities are taking place
  • Access may only be possible to nearby properties outside of the specific section being resurfaced at that time.
  • Traffic controllers will be on-site to assist where possible.

Key dates and work areas

Thursday 1 May

  • Full closure: Woodlands Road to Bentley Street
  • No impact to Transperth bus services

 Friday 2 May

  • Full closure: Mulumba Place to Traylen Road

  • Bus services deviated:
    • Routes affected: 328, 331, 4130, 4156, 4293, 4129
    • Buses will detour via Old Farm Lane, Hollett Road, Ayres Road, and Grenville Road
    • Some bus stops closed (see below)

      Bus stops 15128 and 15112 will not be in use for Routes 328F, 331F, 4130, 4156, 4293 

      Nearest alternative stops:
      15127, 15133



      Bus stops 1511 and 15129 will not be in use for Routes 328T, 331T, 4129

      Nearest alternative stops: 15138, 15130

Sunday 4 May

  • Full closure: Grenville Road to Conradi Place (including Traylen Road)
  • No impact to Transperth bus services (work specifically scheduled on Sunday to avoid disruption)

 Important Notes

  • Buses will operate as normal on 1 May and 4 May (no deviation required).
  • Bus deviations and stop closures occur only on Friday 2 May.
  • School bus services and local traffic have been considered in the timing and staging of the works.

A map showing the affected section of road and key locations is included below to assist in identifying the areas impacted by the works.
